Lucas Erin (*1990) is an artist based in Lausanne. His work is articulated through the mediums of installation, sculpture, and video. Inspired by issues developed in postcolonial studies and theories, his setups challenge the audience on their positions and attitudes in specific contexts; it may involve the simple idea of an encounter, the feeling of acting against one's judgment, or the question of self-withdrawal. In his installations, each object speaks in a different tone, from low to high, from loud to vulnerable.
